ABERPORTH WI

Welcome to Aberporth WI, one of the longest running groups in Ceredigion, 96 years to date.

We have been a little transient these past few years since the demolition of the old village hall. We have changed days, met in a chapel vestry, another village’s hall and a public house!

Now we are about to return to Aberporth  to the new village hall, very exciting. It is all singing and dancing: warm, light and totally disabled friendly, including assessable disabled facilities.

We meet on   2nd and 4th Thursday afternoons, 2-00 till 4-00pm.

Our group are  English speaking, welcoming and friendly who enjoy socialising with tea  and cake.

Our speakers as you can see are varied, plus we run some meetings ourselves with fun ideas.

We run a successful Book Club, theatre and film group and a popular lunch club, meeting in different local restaurants and cafes.

Come and give us a try, you’ll be surprised, I did 5 years ago.
