About us
Welcome to Dihewyd Women’s Institute – a place where friendship, tradition, and community spirit come together.
In our small rural village, our WI has long been a meeting point for women to share stories, laughter, and skills. Many of our gatherings are held in the Welsh language, carrying forward the rhythm of our heritage and weaving it naturally into our conversations, crafts, and celebrations.
We usually meet on alternate Thursday afternoons in Dihewyd Village Hall, where time seems to slow a little – whether we are sewing, crafting, doing a quiz, listening to a guest speaker, or simply enjoying a cuppa together. For some, joining is a chance to learn something new; for others, it is about belonging to a circle of women who care for each other and for the community around us. If you feel drawn to be part of our story, we would be delighted to welcome you. To join Dihewyd WI, please contact the regional office who will help you take the next step.
