85th Anniversary

An evening of nostalgia

It was on October 7th 1925 that the first meeting of the Women's Institute was attended by 23 ladies of Llanilar.  So on October 6th 2010,  Wednesday being our regular meeting night, Llanilar WI celebrated its 85th anniversary with a 1920s style tea party. Members dressed appropriately and enjoyed community singing, as well as poring over old photographs and scrapbooks.
